Consultant Services for Royal Victoria Place (RVP) Car Park Repairs and Refurbishment

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is inviting tenders for the services of an experienced Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyor to oversee the concrete repairs and refurbishment works and contract at its Royal Victoria Place Multi Storey Car Park.

The proposed works will comprise concrete repairs, line marking, new signage, lighting, and other works to improve and renew the facility.

The refurbishment contract is intended to be let as a single contract to a main contractor, with all refurbishment works delivered within the scope of the contract, supervised and coordinated by the Employers Agent.

The works are anticipated to commence in early January 2025 and must be complete by no later than end of October 2025.

The appointed consultant will be required to work with the contractor through the Pre-Construction Services Agreement, to ensure a design is finalised and agreed by the client which is in line with the proposed 2016 D&B maximum price open book contract which would then follow on.

Access to the car park to enable a full assessment of this tender is likely to be required and the site is open to the public and can be visited at your leisure.
