Asbestos Removal and Survey Framework (2 separate Lots)

Expressions of interest are invited from potential providers wishing to provide planned, cyclical and ad-hoc Asbestos Survey and reporting, Asbestos Removal and Management services to both occupied & vacant domestic housing & commercial properties throughout the area covered by WPL and ASW, their members and partners (herein after referred to as “users”). Providers appointed to the framework may be required to act as main contractor within projects and to utilise supply chains already in existence or yet to be established by the consortia and its users. For the avoidance of doubt the main areas serviced by Westworks and Advantage South West are the South and South West of England and the South of Wales, other areas may be served through our sister consortia using this arrangement. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE We are therefore inviting bids based on technical and GEOGRAPHICAL capability so as to encourage small to medium as well as larger enterprises to participate. Companies should make clear the areas within which they can presently deliver the services required.

Limited geographical coverage by a potential provider will not necessarily exclude them from the process as it is The Authority’s users’ aim to encourage local employment and engage with local businesses and other suitably qualified providers To this end it is the intention of the Authority to appoint enough suitably qualified providers to achieve these aims and to encourage local growth and development of its providers.
