The service is to provide a 6-bed Residential Respite Service for customers with a Learning Disability for a period of 5 years.
The key objectives of the respite service are:-
| a) | To provide respite care for people with learning disabilities and enable carers to have a break from caring, reduce isolation and enhance the health, wellbeing and quality of life of carers. |
| b) | To accommodate young people coming through Transitions where possible. |
| c) | To support people to enjoy better opportunities for independence and inclusion. The service must be person centred and show high quality expertise in meeting social, health and wellbeing needs. |
