This notice relates to 2 contracts covering 2 areas of housing stock within London & Essex.

The procurement is divided into 2 lots as follows:

  1. London North East (including Haringey, Waltham Forest, Newham and Tower Hamlets), Lewisham (including Bromley), Hackney, Charlton Triangle (Greenwich) and Essex region 3 100 000.00 GBP - 4 100 000.00 GBP
  1. London North West Region (including Barnet, Harrow, Brent, Ealing and Hillingdon), South East Region (Southwark), South West Region (including Wandsworth, Lambeth, Merton, Sutton and Croydon), Islington and Old Oak Region (including Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham). 2 800 000.00 BBP 3 800 000.00 GBP

The contract is for an initial period of 36 months with an option to extend for a further period of up to 12 months. Family Mosaic expects the contract to start on 3 October 2016.

A maximum of 1 Lot can be awarded to one tenderer.

The scope of each contract includes

  • a)Responsive repairs

The works will comprise, but is not limited to:-

  • Full or partial renewal of roofs.
  • Full or partial renewal of guttering.
  • Guttering clearance and testing.
  • Roofing and Guttering repairs.
  • Use of Skyvac or equivalent.
  • Drone surveys.
  • Responsive repair works to slate, concrete tiles, flat roof, felt, single skin, natural slates and asphalt roofing together with rain water installations.
  • Emergency outside of normal working hours service for making safe.
  • Future opportunity for communal guttering clearance programme.
  • Internal remedial and making good works caused by roofing and guttering related problems
  • b)Scaffolding

The works will comprise but is not limited to:

  • Provision of scaffold drawings.
  • Provision of scaffolding (erection and striking).
  • Provision of towers, access platforms and abseiling.

Additional information: Candidates wishing to express an interest in one or more Lots must complete a pre-qualification questionnaire and submit this before the closing date. The pre-qualification questionnaire is set out within the procurement documents. Family Mosaic is utilising Share Point to manage the sharing of documentation in relation to this procurement. Family Mosaic are seeking to establish a contract in 2 areas (Lots) within London and Essex to deliver Responsive Roofing and Guttering Repairs, Renewal and Scaffolding. Each contract will have a duration of 3 + 1 years. The estimated maximum value across the 2 contracts - the estimated value across both contracts may be in the region of 5 900 000 GBP and 7 900 000 GBP.
