A Framework is required for the laboratory analysis (identification and enumeration) of marine phytoplankton samples collected by the Environment Agency (EA) and Natural Resources Wales (NRW) hereafter known collectively as the Customers. The data generated is used primarily to fulfil statutory marine monitoring and assessment obligations under national and international legislative drivers.
