PQ0278 - Property Services Website - AWARD

Property Services (PS) is the in-house property consultancy for Birmingham City Council. The PS website serves as the online window for the service to enable the general public, prospective tenants, developers and agents, BCC staff and small business customers to view marketing information for the letting, auction and sale of surplus land and property assets.

The assets include shops, offices, industrial units, warehouses, business parks, car parks, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use sites, non-commercial properties, houses, farms, schools, care homes and libraries.

The PS website lists the properties that are available, the development sites coming up, the signposting of other assets coming up and is also used for the disposals side of the business. The website is now outdated and needs to be replaced to enhance the service provided to customers.

This contract will be for an initial period of 12 months, commencing 31/03/2021 with 2 options to extend for 12 months each until 30/03/2024.

The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
