Framework Agreement for: Incineration Services in support of Plant Health Operations

In line with the Forestry Commission’s mission to protect Britain’s forests and woodlands we intend to award a contingency framework agreement for incineration disposal services to support Tree Health England and related Plant Health bodies. This framework contract will facilitate rapid disposal of high volumes of wood/plant material which is likely to be in response to ground based surveys indicating possible pest or disease presence. It will not be possible to transport waste in a sealed container to a registered incineration facility due to high volume and associated bio-security risk. This work will require specialist equipment in order to comply with Environment Agency regulations.
