description

The aim of this contract is to work collaboratively with the church community (PCC) at All Saints, Swanton Morley and All Saints Braunston-In-Rutland to find practical solutions to reduce the physical and social impact of bats without causing them harm.

This contract covers the ecological expertise required to execute the Bat Management Plan, developed under a previous contract and in line with the Bats in Churches (BiC) Class Licence secured under that contract.

The suppliers will work closely with the PCCs to coordinate work schedules with bat surveys. The contract includes supervision of physical works at the churches, procurement of specific technical equipment (e.g. bespoke bat boxes, or deterrents), post intervention monitoring including radio tracking, annual BiC Class Licence monitoring and returns, and final reporting.
