description
Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC), on behalf of Newark and Sherwood District Council and Mansfield District Council is seeking to gain an understanding of the market interest and the range of services the market has to offer for the provision of Business Support and Facilities Management Services for its Innovation Centres.
NCC currently manages a contract on behalf of the abovementioned partners (also including funding partners BIS and the HCA) that operates Innovation Centres in Mansfield, Newark and Worksop and wishes to review the commercial arrangements for their operation from 1st April 2017.
The Innovation Centres are modern business hubs providing businesses with fully serviced offices and workspaces, virtual business services, meeting rooms, on site cafes and support to help grow businesses via a programme of activities and events and access to business coaches and mentors.
NCC and the aforementioned partners are also looking at opportunities to increase the scope of the current contract in terms of the number of partners and the level of collaboration. This could include some Nottingham City Council premises and accordingly their service requirements could form part of this opportunity.
NCC is currently assessing the future delivery options for the Innovation Centres. Information received from interested parties will be used to inform the options appraisal for the content, services, structure and duration of future contract(s) with the objective of delivering a future service based upon innovation, best practice and commercial viability.
Interested parties will be asked to complete and return a Request for Information Document which contains further information describing the opportunity and are invited to attend a briefing session at Newark Beacon ? one of the centres contained in the current portfolio on 10th March 2016
