The Supply and Installation of new Play Equipment in High Halstow Village Recreational Ground and Play Park

High Halstow Parish Council is seeking to invite tenders from Playground Design and Build companies that specialise in disabled play equipment, for the design and redevelopment of the playground in the High Halstow Recreation Ground.

Scope of work required includes:

Removal and Disposal of:

• Green Seesaw Arch
• Green Roundabout

Supply and Installation of:

• DDA Wheelchair accessible Roundabout - to replace the current roundabout
• DDA Wheelchair accessible Trampoline 1.5m Square Bed - Sunken
• Multi-Play Unit - Junior
• Swing Set c/w Child & Carer Swing and DDA Swing Seat.
• Sensory Den c/w Sensory Panels
• 2 x Musical Sensory Items (Sensory Panel and Drum Set)
• 1 x Minibeast Sensory Panel
• 1 x 4 Square Game Line Markings on existing tarmac

Surfacing:

• Edging and Wetpour surfacing for Junior Multi-Play Unit
• Edging and Wetpour surfacing for Existing PlayPark

Completions:

• Post Install Inspections and Certification

Submission of Tender

In order to evaluate the tender, the following information and documents are required:

• Pricing Schedule
• Proof of Insurances
• Proof of Guarantees

Tender documents and other submitted items:

1). Must arrive no later than 5pm on 7th November 2024

2). Marked for the attention of Jenny Allen

3). Clearly marked 'High Halstow Play Park Improvements Tender'

4). Must be in a sealed Envelope.

5). Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery.

6). No tender will be accepted if it is received after the specified date and time, unless dispensation has been provided by HHPC.

7). By submitting the Form of Tender, the tenderer confirms that it is able and willing to enter into a formal contract with the HHPC if awarded. The Form of Tender shall be signed by persons authorised to submit tenders and make contracts for the tenderer.

Award Criteria

Any tender that is accepted will be evaluated on the basis of:

1). Quality;

2). Price;

3). Experience;

4). Understanding of HHPC's requirements.
