The London Borough of Lambeth is seeking expressions of interest from organisations to undertake the day-to-day management and maintenance of Myatt's Fields Park through a Service Level Agreement. The initial expected duration will be for a minimum of 5 years, with the option to extend for a further 2 years after. It is anticipated that the management fee value will be approximately £15k per year reducing to £9k over time.
We are seeking an organisation with links to the local community and some experience in managing a similar sized park/operations.
The successful organisation will be expected to undertake the following:
| 1. | All aspects of horticulture |
| 2. | Grass cutting throughout the site |
| 3. | Management of sports facilities - tennis courts and all-weather pitch |
| 4. | Adhoc repairs at the site |
| 5. | Management and facilitation of events |
| 6. | Hedge cutting on the interior of the site |
| 7. | General monitoring of the site and usage |
| 8. | Any other duties to improve the site |
The council will continue to:
| 1. | Undertake cleansing and bin emptying (including disposal) |
| 2. | Management and monitoring of the site's tree stock |
| 3. | Management and maintenance of the site's playground and splashpad |
| 4. | Site security - locking and unlocking |
| 5. | Management and maintenance of the on-site toilet facilities |
| 6. | Planned maintenance of the buildings |
