Northern Area Clearance (Zone 3, Zone 4 and TBWRF / FPP) Works for the North London Heat and Power Project - AWARD

The Authority is procuring this contract under the CCS Construction Works and Associated Services Framework Alliance Contract (RM6088).

The works being procured are referred to as the Northern Area Clearance (Zone 3, Zone 4 and TBWRF / FPP ) Works.

The works area comprises a former bulky waste recycling facility (BWRF) and fuel preparation plant (FPP) located in Zone 3, a small number of ancillary buildings located in Zone 4 and a temporary bulky waste recycling facility and fuel preparation plant (TBWRF / FPP). The works area is located within the Edmonton EcoPark site, a large, operational waste management facility.

The scope of works includes the following main items:

• Handover of the site from the Operator.
• Sequencing and phasing of the site clearance works.
• Site establishment and set-up.
• Pre-works surveys
• Enabling/preparatory works.
• Utilities location, isolation, disconnection and protection.
• Site clearance to remove required above and below ground structures.
• Recycling of site-won material, including on site-processing and stockpiling of materials suitable for re-use.
• Post-works condition surveys, reporting and provision of information.
• Site handover back to the Operator.
