Repairs Service to Leasehold and Lettings Properties

Midland Heart is seeking to appoint a contractor (or contractors) to carry out the repairs service to our Leasehold and Lettings properties.

The current service delivers circa 500 responsive repairs each year including repairs to communal areas of 50 blocks of apartments and to 480 individual properties.

The total expenditure on responsive and planned maintenance is approximately £288,300 per annum. This expenditure is spread over a wide geographical area from Stoke on Trent in the North to Milton Keynes in the South.

Repairs and maintenance activity is a significant driver of customer satisfaction and we have consequently invited customers to be part of the procurement panel. The opportunity will be tendered following on from the Meet the Buyer Event.

Midland heart is holding a ‘Meet the buyer' Open day for businesses including charities and social enterprises interesting in tendering for the repairs service of our Leasehold and Lettings Properties.

At this event vendors can find out more about Midland Heart's forthcoming repairs contract due to be tendered in June 2015, the procurement process and the type of standard information that will be required from suppliers.
