NHS Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (BNSSG ICB) ("The Commissioner") is seeking to commission a general practice core training Programme to General Practice Nurses (GPNs), Health Care Assistants (HCAs) Additional Role Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) roles and non-clinical staff (NCS) within the BNSSG ICB's georgical area. The main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

To provide core training to the BNSSG General Practice workforce, in particular GPNs and non-clinical staff
To enable staff to develop their competencies and associated patient service provision
To maximise utilisation of the budget available and the number of staff able to participate
To provide an equitable, diverse, and inclusive training offer: considering blended learning, location, time of day etc.

The contract will be for the duration of 12 months. The total value of the contract is £210,000, exclusive of VAT. The anticipated service commencement is in April 2024.
