London Rd Sports Pavilion Boiler Replacement,

The London Road sports pavilion is a single storey building constructed in 1997, consisting of 4 communal changing rooms with 4 number showers in each, an officials changing room with 2 number showers, separate female and male / accessible toilets.

The project comprises of the replacement of the existing Gas fired modular boiler and hot and cold water storage tanks with new modern energy efficient LPHW gas boilers and flues and booster set together with new Controls package. Including all builders work in conjunction with these works.

The selected contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the delivery of works and the co-ordination of all sub-contractors.

It is intended that the works be carried out during normal working hours over the late summer and Autumn of 2021. The contractors attention is drawn to the fact that the building will be open as weekend changing rooms during the contract period, the contract requires the provision of temporary plant to maintain the functionality of the facility, as scheduled in the tender return; method statements and previous experience submitted should reflect these and all other relevant facts.
