Sussex CCGs Non-Urgent Patient Transport Service (PTS)

Request for Information (RFI)

Following a series of provider engagement sessions, the Commissioners in Sussex are now considering that a managed service approach may offer a number of further benefits to the provision of patient transport in Sussex. The proposed future format is shown below:

Managed Service Provider to deliver a Patient Transport Hub including; the booking call centre and communications (including patients and healthcare providers) and management of transport providers.

The Commissioners are keen to understand the view of the market place regarding the development of managing the service as defined in the single Lot described above and in the Draft outline service requirements.

This is a process designed to help the Commissioners form a view of the best way to commission the service and is not the beginning of a tender exercise. A further tender advertisement will be issued at the appropriate time as required. Your response at this point will not have a bearing on any future tender bids you may wish to submit at a later time. You will not be disadvantaged if you choose not to respond to this RFI but it will be helpful to understand your views at this early stage, so you are encouraged to respond as fully as you can.

Providers are invited to register their interest and access the documentation via the e-tendering portal https://in-tendhost.co.uk/soepscommissioning.

Please return the questionnaire in full by 4pm on Friday 10th April 2015 using the in-tend correspondence system.

All responses to this RFI will remain confidential.
