P2595 Open Space, Sport and Recreation update to reports SMDC and HPBC Local Plans

Staffordshire Moorlands District Council is inviting tenders for consultants to assist the Authority prepare updated evidence to both support the emerging Staffordshire Moorlands Local Plan, and the adopted High Peak Local Plan and develop local strategies relating to open space, playing pitches and sport and recreation facilities. The preparation of the required evidence and documents should be in line with Sport England best practice and the National Planning Policy Framework and associated guidance.

The work is required to be undertaken in two phases 1 is to be completed by March 2017, phase 2 will be subject to funding approval in the 17/18 financial year.
