description
The Department and its partners have a major role to play in delivering thegovernment's priorities which include:
- Building our Industrial Strategy
- Maximising investment and bolstering the UK's interests
- Promoting competitive markets and responsible business practices
- Ensuring the UK has a reliable and low cost clean energy system
The aim of this brief is to recruit a single market research agency to be able to work across a range of communications and emerging future campaigns managed by BEIS and itspartners. The requirement is for an agency that can deliver a broad range of research techniques to enable us to gather insight on our audiences and to measure the impact of our communications.
Typical research requirements would be general public/business surveys to provide insight into attitudes/understanding; creative content and message testing; and campaign tracking research. Key target audiences for our communications include businesses and workers, as well as individuals as consumers. Previous needs have centered around evaluating campaigns to raise awareness of workers' rights, amongst both employers and employees, for particular workplace legislation e.g. National Minimum Wage, National LivingWage, Flexible Working, Shared Parental Leave, and message testing relating to the Industrial Strategy.
In addition to specific campaign-related activity you should be aware that we may havea need to conduct research amongst key BEIS stakeholders to measure sentiment and understanding of BEIS and its policies.
