345_16 Fitness Equipment (Supply, Delivery, Installation and Maintenance)

A national framework for the supply, delivery, installation and maintenance of fitness equipment (Cardio Vascular and Strength, also including dance machines and interactive walls and floors).

Lot 2 Fitness Equipment Price List

Both lots cover the same type of equipment, lot 1 is for further competitions only and is designed for projects involving mainly a large selection of equipment whereas lot 2 will include a price list, broken down into sub-lots by type of equipment (e.g. cycle, treadmill, cross trainer) and will be awarded by sub-lot. Lot 2 will allow for purchase via direct call-off or further competition and will allow those niche suppliers to bid who specialise in just certain types of equipment rather than complete projects.

Whilst for purchase mainly, the framework will also allow lease options to be offered direct by suppliers upon customer’s request.

The framework has the option to extend for up to a further 12 months.

An eAuction process may be used to award subsequent call off contracts following the reopening of competition among the parties to the Framework Agreement.

As a Central Purchasing Body as defined by the EU Procurement Directive 2014/24/EU, the Framework Agreement is open for use by the following classifications of user throughout all administrative regions of the UK: Local Authority Councils; Educational Establishments (including Academies); Central Government Departments and Agencies and Local Government Departments and Agencies; Police, Fire & Rescue and Coastguard Emergency Services; NHS and HSC Bodies, including Ambulance Services; Registered Charities;Registered Social Landlords; Any Public Body established by or under the Scotland Act 1998 or any Act of the Scottish Parliament.
