description
The Commissioning Academy is a development programme for senior commissioners from all parts of the public sector. The programme has plenty of opportunity for participants to contribute in group and individual learning activities to develop and enhance their capability/experience as a commissioning leader.
This will include a series of six development days spread over 5-6 months, including at least one site visit to commissioning organisations, and in-depth discussions with a range of commissioners and providers; focussing on practical, peer-led learning.
It will run in ‘Waves’ of three cohorts at a time. The Authority requires a Delivery Partner for the ‘Non Specialist Days’ for the Wave Four cohorts to prepare and deliver each of the four days of the eight day programme that do not have a ‘Specialist Delivery Partner’.
