description

Place Partnership Ltd. invite suitable, qualified and experienced Consultants to express an interest for the Water Account Forensic Audit Consultancy Service for Place Partnership Place Partnership Limited is seeking to appoint an external consultant with effect from January 2020.

The gas, electricity, water and telecoms/data industries went through a privatisation programme from the 1980's onwards and since then there has been further change and competition development, with the rationalisation of and takeover of various utility providers. During this same period there have also been major changes in legislation around the supply of utilities and there has been the ongiong digital revolution, meaning that data systems are now different. This constant change has meant that there has been plenty of scope for suppliers to make mistakes with their data and interpretation of how the industry works. The result of this continued change is that it is likely that mistakes will have been made and customers may have been overcharged.

Many supply industries rely on customers to find errors and challenge mistakes. However, without specialist knowledge, customers are often unlikely to realise that they have been over-charged and are often unable to affectively challenge billing and or negotiate refunds. It is believed that by employing a very specialist organisation to review charges that a) they will find mistakes, b) they will be able to put forward arguments for return of the over-payments, c) they will have access to adequate legal advice to challenge the return of over-payments, backdated potentially over many years.

The Consultancy will need to develop strategic forensic audits across the Place Partnership existing and future Client Portfolio. We require a highly experienced team who can lead and deliver savings to the public sector.
