SBC 1016 Daneshill House - Reception Remodelling

AWARDED - Stevenage Borough Council is looking for competent contractors to tender for the remodelling of the Main Reception area within its office at Daneshill House. The building comprises six floors and will continue to be fully occupied during the remodelling work. The full description and full scope of the works is contained within the tender documentation with an outline scope of works shown below for information.

OUTLINE SCOPE OF WORKS

Removal of existing reception desk, brick and timber partitions, doors & associated ceiling and floor finishes. Removal of existing redundant services including heating and other equipment. Repair & adaptation of existing timber suspended floor. Supply, installation and connection of new floor electrical services. Increase width of one existing door opening including supply & installation of new emergency release doorset. Repair & decoration of existing sprayed acoustic ceiling, installation of new plasterboard wall & ceiling areas and manufacture & installation of new curved ceiling feature panels. Replacement of lighting and floor finishes. Fit-out of new Access WC compartment.

Site visits are mandatory for this project. Tenders received from contractors who have not been recorded as having attended a site visit will be rejected. Visits must be requested by the contractor by correspondence through the InTend system. Visits will be scheduled by the Council during the timetabled date range 24th OCTOBER 2016 - 28th OCTOBER 2016.
