description

Lancaster University currently has approximately 50 No. rigid anchor lines, or "man-safe" fall arrest systems, located on approximately 19 No. buildings which are all on our Bailrigg campus. A further 6 or 7 anchor lines, totalling some 530 linear metres is also being installed on a new building on campus, which comes live in the Spring of 2020.

Further to the above, the University also has approximately 47 No. fixed anchor points on approximately 5 No. buildings, again all on the Bailrigg campus.

This tender is for the testing, inspection and certification of these rigid anchor lines and anchor points, for a period of 4 years (+ 1 year).
