description

This work builds on previous work to develop a Career and Competency Framework for Liaison & Diversion services, the Adults Secure ad Detained Estate and the Children and Young People's complex needs pathway.

For each of these service Frameworks, a set of roles was created defining each role, setting out the scope of a role, the common/core competencies for each role, the learning and development activities associated with a role plus information on continuing professional development. This project will help to ensure that all roles that comprise Health & Justice commissioned services will now have dedicated role profiles and have career and competence frameworks that accompany them.

For many of the non-custodial roles there is no similar role within any of the other Health & Justice services which means these require the development of new role profiles. For other non-custodial roles, there are very similar roles based within other Health & Justice services that already have role profiles created to cover them within their respective career and competence framework. These will require adapting slightly to create new role profiles.
