Provision of Strategic Technology Partner via CCS Framework RM3804 Technology Services 2 (Lot 2 - Transition and Transformation)

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council (SBC) would like to appoint a Strategic Transformation Partner (STP). Strategic Transformation Partner will provide the technical services expertise and services required to augment and support the department in remediating critical risks to the estate and transforming that estate to support the Authorities 2050 and business service ambitions.

The scope of the works has been defined into 3 key Components:

• Technical resource augmentation - Supplementing SBC Technology capacity with the required technical expertise to deliver on required outcomes.
• Support and maintenance contract - Providing uptime support and licensing for our physical assets that is in a period of transition, from on-premise to an Azure solution.
• Technical Service Wrapper for UCS - Delivering operational capability and change delivery support across this platform. This will ensure SBC will be able to maintain its delivery responsibilities whilst progressing with its go-to-cloud strategy.

SBC would transfer responsibility for several activities and duties from SBC staff to the Strategic Technology Partner. SBC expect this approach to guarantee access to the required resource to support their strategic and BAU responsibilities
