Barnet Young People?s Substance Misuse Service

Barnet & Harrow Joint Public Health Service in Barnet wish to tender for a service which:

? Supports universal services to address drug and alcohol use effectively

? Delivers support to parents and carers of drug/alcohol using young people

? Offers support to young people at appropriate, accessible locations at appropriate times such as evenings or weekends

? Targets prevention work at young people who are at increased risk of developing drug and alcohol misuse problems

? Provides specialist evidence based treatment, including pharmacological treatment where necessary, to those with existing drug and/or alcohol issues integrating treatment plans with mainstream young people?s and safeguarding services where appropriate, matching or improve on national treatment performance benchmarks
