SEN and other Transport Services

Liverpool City Council (LCC) has a statutory duty to provide transport services for approximately 1821 eligible children, young people and adults as part of its home-to-school-transport service and adult social careservices.The total of all contracts consists of about 576 routes within Liverpool and the Merseyside area in private hire & hackney taxis, MPV’s and minibuses. This contract also includes officer and general ad hoc travel. We have scheduled a supplier information workshop to inform potential bidders interested in passenger transport contracts about the process and to provide some assistance in the steps required to bid. The event will be held on Wednesday 2nd November 2016 at 10.00am and will last approximately 90 minutes, at theconference centre LACE, Croxteth Drive, Sefton Park Liverpool 17 1AA, If you would like to attend please confirm attendance via the chest, no later than close of business on Tuesday 1st November 2016. The DPS will remain in place for a period of 4 years, with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
