description

Leicestershire County Council, West Leicestershire CCG and East Leicestershire and Rutland CCG wish to put in place a supplementary framework for home-based care and support services to meet the health and social care needs of Service Users across the county of Leicestershire, which cannot otherwise be met be the incumbent Lead Providers. Service Users will be individuals aged 18 and over who have been assessed as eligible to receive services commissioned either through the local authority or assessed by health under continuing healthcare. The aim of the service is to support service users to remain safely in their own homes; to deliver a "step up" community reablement service and to facilitate Service Users safe and timely discharge from hospital.

The framework agreement has the option to extend for up to a further 12 months. The total estimated valuestated in Section II.2.6 includes the option period. An eAuction process may be used to award subsequent calloff contracts following the reopening of competition among the parties to the Framework Agreement.
