Milton Keynes was forged in the optimism of the late 1960's, a time of grand plans and technological leaps and MKC has continued to build its reputation for being forward thinking and creating innovative solutions. The MK:3D Map App is another "first" for MK. The MK:3D Map App is an interactive 3D digital map of Milton Keynes ; a digital tool that is accessible to all and is focussed on city development and city promotion, embedding a brand and creating connections that make MK a special place; identifying employment sites and promoting these sites for inward investment; showcasing our visitor sites and promoting our visitor economy; a national and international platform to promote ourselves as a city of opportunity with space for growth. The overall aim is to make MK:3D THE map App to go to for Milton Keynes.
The Council is seeking to secure a partner organisation or consortium to deliver the continued technological design and development of the MK:3D Map App together with the promotion and showcasing of the business and visitor offerings in Milton Keynes
To progress this, Milton Keynes Council is initially seeking Expressions of Interest from organisations who would be interested in attending a supplier engagement session to learn more about what the App is used for and openly debate and explore new ideas on how a partnership could benefit and increase the Apps potential.
The main features of the App are:

| • | Location PINS of clients buildings on the Map |
| • | Push messaging for sharing promotions, events, news etc |
| • | Links to clients websites |
| • | Links to MKC website |
| • | Layers of specific info such as EV charging locations and their availability |
| • | Search function for points of interest |
| • | Navigation bar to quickly switch between "Home, "Map" , "Links" |
| • | Information focussed on Investors and Visitors |
