WFD 2016 North Pennines blanket bog restoration

Maintain & improve the condition of terrestrial protected sites. This project will contribute directly to the delivery of KPI 1 by improving the condition of SSSI and N2K units within the three N2K blanket Bog sites within the North Pennines AONB. We are currently still negotiating with units will be subject to survey and rehabilitation, and this will be agreed with local teams, with reference to their local protected areas targets. This is a practical 'on the ground' project with outcomes that will include physical rehabilitation of degraded habit to improve its condition.
