Invitation To Tender (ITT) for the Provision of External Catering - AWARD

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council wishes to invite interested organisations (Tenderers) to participate in a tendering exercise to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of External Catering.

The expenditure for the provision of catering services is estimated to be no greater than £60,000 per annum. This figure is intended to be used as a guide only and is not a guarantee of business that will be generated.

The total value excluding VAT for the entire duration of the Framework Agreement is estimated to be no more than £240,000.

The framework agreement will subject to earlier termination be for a period of 3 years effective from 1st February 2015 to 31st January 2018, with the option to extend for a further 12 month period until 31st January 2019.

The Council is following the Open procedure for this procurement exercise and the I T T and related documents will be available to Tenderers upon an expression of interest on the Sandwell M B C In-tend Supplier Portal.

From the homepage you will either need to login using an existing account or click on Register to complete the simple registration process to receive your login details. From the homepage enter your email address and password then click Login. Once logged into the system, click on Tenders from the top menu bar to list all the current opportunities. Once you have found the relevant opportunity you should click on View Details. You will then have access to the Express Interest button at the bottom of the screen which will provide you with immediate access to the I T T and related documents on the Supplier Portal.

The last date for expressions of interest on the Sandwell M B C In-tend Supplier Portal will be 23:59hrs on 18th December 2014.

All enquiries related to the I T T should be directed through the Sandwell M B C In-tend Supplier Portal Correspondence function by no later than 23:59hrs on 18th December 2014. The Council is under no obligation to respond to any enquiries received after this date.

I T Ts must be submitted through the Sandwell M B C In-tend Supplier Portal by no later than 15:00hrs on 16th January 2015 which is the date fixed for submission of responses to the I T T.
