description

The University wish to purchase a vacuum deposition tool to enable complex multilayer OLED fabrication and encapsulation. Full fabrication in glovebox is a requirement. Facility for co-evaporation of three different materials is required as is a sample shutter system/wedge tool to allow control of layer thickness across a substrate. Multiple substrate masks are required as is substrate rotation. Varied materials deposition will be required so a mixture of deposition crucibles and an e-beam source are required. The possibility of a small substrate transfer anti-chamber to the main deposition chamber would also be advantageous to minimise vacuum cycling of the main chamber and speed deposition time.

The contract will be for the sole use of the Durham University.

As the contract is for the purchase of equipment the contract period will be determined by the length of warranty purchased with the equipment, if any. If no additional warranty package is purchased the contract period will start at the time the purchase order is issued and will end following the expiry of the standard warranty period included from the date of commissioning.
