description
This European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) project will start on 7 December with a 3-month delivery programme, to enable funding to be spent within the period designated by external partners, with no extensions available. The Government has provided 'Recovering the High Street Safely Funding' (RHSSF) to Brent Council to deliver a number of interventions across the Borough, to support our High Streets and Town Centres, to adapt to the impact of the pandemic. The Council is required to deliver and report on key outcomes as part of an action plan for this funding. As part of this important project Brent Council are looking for an organisation to provide Covid-19 Health & Safety Business Support and Training for businesses across the Borough and in particular in town centres, as outlined in the detailed specification below. Although the Recovering the High Street Safely fund is designed to be a temporary support for businesses, the aim of this project is to build resilience within Brent's business community to resist further shocks from the Covid-19 pandemic including further extensions of lockdown measures at local or national levels.
