An economic evaluation and economic review of the costs and benefits to employers and employees of organisational and individual level interventions to support people with disabilities or long-term conditions to return to or stay in work. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has been asked by the Department of Health to produce guidance on policies and approaches to support employees with disabilities and long-term conditions. The guideline will be developed by one of the Public Health Advisory Committees (PHAC). The draft scope for this guideline (which provides details about the intervention areas, population groups and key research questions and outcomes) is available on the NICE website from 6 March 2015 (estimated date).
