We are looking for expressions of interest for Electrification & Plant works within our CP6 workbank with Network Rail. At this moment in time we are looking to deliver some works in year 1 of the framework (early 2020) and the packages we have at the moment are as follows:-

  1. HV Feeder Renewal GRIP 6-8: Refurbishment and/or renewal of a total of 40.81km of HV traction cables spread over 9 locations in Sussex and 5 locations in Kent varying in length from 0.15km to 6.4km
  1. Point Heating Renewal GRIP 6-8: Refurbishment and/or modification of the existing installation and the replacement of Points Heating Cabinets. Works include the installation of new points heating strip, PH transformers, cabling and associated civils. Some locations may require a DNO upgrade
  1. Domestic Rewiring GRIP 6-8: Renewal works of the existing domestic installation at Substations and TP Huts in 35 locations across Kent and Sussex. Works consist of renewal of wiring and replacement of lighting, power outlets, heating and anti-condensation systems and dehumidifiers. In some locations, a new domestic power supply will need to be provided.

Please note when answering the questions within this opportunity 'directly employed resources' are deemed resources that are directly employed or labour only. Subcontract package work where a lump sum for works undertaken is not be deemed as directly employed.

BAM Nuttall were awarded the Control Period 6 (CP6) Southern Multi-Disciplinary (SMD) Framework by Network Rail in December 2018. The CP6 Framework started in April 2019 and will run until March 2024. The works will involve the development of schemes from an early stage working collaboratively with Network Rail's Route and Infrastructure Projects teams as well as other stakeholders and Train Operating Companies.

Network Rails CP6 SMD Framework will cover the following:

  • Geotechnical (grounds/embankments),
  • Buildings (station/depot refurbishments),
  • Structures (bridges/tunnels),
  • Electrification (domestic rewiring)
  • Plant and Enhancements (new infrastructures).
