description
The requirement covers the manufacture,sourcing and support of a range of Water Safety Equipment Articles, including the servicing and repair of equipment and post design services such as obsolescence management and the updating of drawings and technical documentation where appropriate. The Articles included in this requirement cover the provision of safety critical equipment for all personnel in or around water . The full list of parts can be found in the supporting document to the PQQ. The Articles to be supplied must comply with IMO, SOLAS, CE and BS EN ISO 12402. The requirement has been split in to 6 distinct lots.
The successful tenderer for the applicable Lot may be required to supply samples of Life Jackets for approval prior to commencing manufacturing. Samples shall be provided free of charge to the Authority.
