UK SBS PR17033 Phytoplankton and Microplastic Sampler

Natural Environment Research Council require a Phytoplankton and Microplastic sampler. The device must be able to collect in situ suspended particulate matter in an aquatic environment. The system is to have dual multi-port valve to direct water through replaceable 47mm filters for a time-series operation. It is to have a positive displacement pump which must be downstream from the filters to prevent sample contamination. Both the multi-port valve and the positive displacement pump are to be controlled by an internal computer which can be accessed by an external computer via serial communications (RS-232 port).
