TC053A - Pharmaceutical Services for Substance Users

The Borough Council of Bolton (the Authority) is prepared to receive tenders from interested applicants (Applicants) for <b>Pharmaceutical Services for Substance Users </b>which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed. <strong><u>The term of the Framework Agreement will be 1 year and 4 months with the option to extend for a further 2 years. It is intended for the Framework Agreement to commence on 1 December 2015. </u></strong> <strong><u>The Authority will award places on the Framework Agreement in accordance with this Invitation to Tender and will evaluate all responses to this Invitation to Tender in accordance with the evaluation criteria and scoring criteria detailed herein. There is no limit to the number of places available on the Framework Agreement</u></strong> The required Pharmaceutical Services for Substance Users has been divided into the following two Lots: Lot 1 - <b>Supervised Consumption</b><b> </b> Lot 2 - <b>Needle Exchange, Information and Advice</b><b></b>

Additional information: The Authority reserves the right not to award any Contract as a result of the procurement process initiated by this notice and will not be liable for any costs incurred by candidates. Interested parties must submit a qualification questionnaire by way of expression of interest. The Authority is using the e-business portal known as The Chest. Applicants will need to register their details at the following link: https://www.the-chest.org.uk.Once registered, Applicants will be emailed a username and password which will allow applicants to gain access to the Invitation to Tender. Applicants will need to electronically submit the completed questionnaire and accompanying documentation via the on-line portal by 4:00pm on Monday 18.5.2015 as referred to in IV.3.4.Any clarification queries will also need to be submitted via the Chest website. The framework period will be for 1 year and 4 months with the option to extend for 2 years.
