description
Derby LIVE has produced or co-produced Christmas Family Theatre productions, with a particular focus on children in the 4 - 9 age range, at the Guildhall Theatre since 2007. This Christmas production now attracts an audience of over 5,500 with box office gross takings in excess of £50K. Our shows have been well received by both audiences and press alike and the Derby LIVE Guildhall Theatre Family Christmas production is now embedded as a major fixture in Derby's entertainment calendar.
The Guildhall Christmas Family Theatre production has been a great success story, and we believe there is the opportunity for continued growth. Derby LIVE is looking for a producer who is eager to work with us to continue to develop our Guildhall Christmas Family Theatre production.
The initial contract period is one year; the contract is estimated to commence 2 January 2019 and expire 1 January 2020.
There will be an option to extend the contract for two years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. Maximum contract period is three years.
