Site access for maintenance: Fridays only from 12noon to 3pm this is due to the site being required for the delivery of curriculum lessons we are unable to allow maintenance to be carried out at any other time.
Upon appointment you will need to provide full COSHH data of proposed cleaning materials for moss and weed treatment. Please detail in your return which chemicals you propose to use. Please also submit with your return a sample Method Statement & Risk Assessment for these type of activities.
Surfacing for MUGA Hockey
Type: Sand dressed synthetic turf as 210A.
Fortnightly Maintenance Contract to include:

| • | Litter and leaf removal and disposal |
| • | Drag brushing / drag matting |
| • | Check and clear drainage of any obstructions allowing free drainage |
On a monthly basis carry out:
| • | Specialist power sweeping |
| • | Specialist decompaction |
| • | Moss and Weed Treatments |
Actions as Required:
| • | Infill top-ups |
| • | Line markings |
| • | Surface rejuvenation |
| • | Minor repairs / remedial work |
| • | Inspecting penalty spots and goal areas for damage and wear. |
| • | Inspection of fencing and fixtures for damage. |
| • | Inspection of play equipment i.e. goals etc |
| • | All waste to be removed off site by the successful contractor and disposed of in the correct approved manner. |
Additional information: At the end of each maintenance visit a worksheet is required to be signed off by a member of the Estates team for all activities completed on that visit. The successful contractor is responsible for creating this worksheet (to the Group’s specification), completing and obtaining an authorized signature each time. A copy of this sheet will be left with the Estates team.
All but minor repair works will fall outside of this contract and will be issued on a request basis and sanctioning of official order basis, only. Any issues with equipment should be reported immediately to the Group’s Hygiene Manager.
