description
The Home Office is seeking to identify organisations which are able to deliver a programme of weekly and other ad-hoc focus groups for a 12 month period amongst a specific target audience, to track attitudes and evaluate the impact of government messages.
Key Criteria
Prospective organisations must:
| • | Have the ability to deliver the focus group research requirement in a cost effective and innovative way; |
| • | Have demonstrable skills in running similar focus group research programmes to the highest professional standard; and |
| • | Demonstrate the ability to follow requirements of the code of conduct of the Market Research Society to enable the supplier to remain discreet about the sponsor of their work. |
Specification
In summary, the prospective organisation will be required to deliver:
| • | A Weekly focus group programme – develop and deliver a schedule of focus groups to be delivered across the UK amongst the specified target audience to track attitudes. |
| • | Ad hoc focus groups – deliver rapid response focus groups with audience sets relevant to specific topical issues. |
| • | Evaluation focus groups – deliver ad-hoc focus groups to evaluate the impact of Government messages and relevant materials. |
| • | Peer-to-peer communications – a stand-alone focus group research project to understand the influence of peer-to-peer networks amongst the specified target audience. |
Before a detailed specification for this work can be released, a non-disclosure agreement must be put in place between prospective organisations and the Home Office. A non-disclosure agreement will be released on request to those organisations with the evidence satisfaction of the key criteria.
Expressions of interest must include full contact details and outline the skills the organisation has, including any evidence, to demonstrate that the prospective organisation has the capability to deliver the required focus group research programme.
