description

The objectives of this project are to:

-Review and stocktake approaches to the design, implementation and evaluation of counterfactual scenarios focussed on AES interventions in the conservation and enhancement of landscape character.
-Make best use of the existing body of landscape monitoring and field survey data, and potentially include supplementary capture of new quantitative and/or qualitative data using appropriate techniques.
-Develop and implement an appropriate strategy and test methods (which can be adapted for future use) to then investigate and evaluate a set of updated counterfactual scenarios (or hypotheses, as used in BD5303) agreed with Natural England.
