description
A contract for the provision of support services in order to help develop the strategic content of the HS2 Ltd.'s internal and outward facing Skills, Education and Employment strategy. Input into HS2 Ltd.'s Skills and Employment actions plans is also required to enable the SEE strategy to become realised during 2017 to 2020. In order to create this content, the awarded Supplier will be required to:
- Conduct/collate research into the broader skills and employment landscape in which HS2 Ltd and its supply chain operates, as the basis to understand the key challenges to meeting the strategic objectives relevant to SEE;
- Conduct/collate evidence on the approaches and interventions that have been successful elsewhere in delivering the outcomes set out in the relevant HS2 strategic objectives;
- Engage with stakeholders across the project internally, and key external stakeholders to inform this research;
- Incorporate the existing work that has been completed to date including work on the wider benefits, scorecard, works information and existing plans on apprenticeships and education programme;
- Work closely with HS2 Ltd.'s Head of SEE to draft the content of the materials listed above;
- Work closely with HS2 Ltd.'s Economic & Commercial Analysis and Benefits Management teams to develop a methodology for measuring and benchmarking the implementation of the strategy; and
- Develop a stakeholder engagement plan for development and sign off of the strategy content.
