PH0330-1 Meal Kit Provision HAF Summer and Christmas 2022

The provision of meal kits that are to be distributed to families as part of the delivery of the Holiday Activities and Food Programme 2022 (HAF). The meal kits will be distributed during the school holiday periods of Summer and Christmas 2022.

The kits will provide meals for families with children in receipt of free school meals (FSM) identified by the Council. The aim is to encourage families to learn to cook together, eat healthy meals, and participate in healthy social behaviours around food. The meal kits will include recipe cards to make it easy for people new to cooking to create a satisfying meal and to recreate the meal on their own at a later date.
