Newlon Housing Trust - Business Development Tender for Valuations 2016 - 2018

Newlon Housing Trust is a highly successful charitable housing association based in north and east London. Newlon owns or manages around 8,000 affordable homes, primarily in eight boroughs in north and east London, with many more in development. We work to provide people in housing need with decent and affordable homes and with our Group members we help individuals and communities reach their full potential.

We currently own or manage nearly 8,000 affordable homes across north and east London, and have plans to develop a further 2,000 by 2022 in addition to private sale and market rent.These homes are made up of a mix of affordable tenures and we provide housing for people nominated from local authority waiting lists, specialised accommodation for Key Workers and Shared Ownership homes to help people take their first step on the property ladder.

NHT are seeking bids from suppliers able to provide valuations and who would be willing to be part of a panel of six suppliers used to provide these services. The valuation types have been divided into two lots: Lot 1 – valuations relating to Site and Scheme Acquisitions to include Land, Unit and Commercial Unit valuations and Lot 2 – valuations relating to New Build Sales, Resales, Staircasing, Right to Buy/Acquire and Lease Extensions.Bidders can apply for either Lot 1 or Lot 2 or both. We regularly require valuations for the purposes set out in Lots 1 and 2. In order to meet our procurement responsibilities we are inviting interested parties to bid for our panel which will last for a period of 2 years.
