Salford City Council is seeking to commission a sample survey of private sector stock conditions including small registered providers. The survey will gather comprehensive data relating to the Decent Homes Standard and will utilise the Housing Health and Safety Rating System to assess minimum acceptable conditions. It will also gather data relating to energy efficiency matters and include a socio-economic and health profile of private sector households.
Additional information: Salford City Council is seeking to commission a sample survey of private sector stock conditions. Salford is located in the Greater Manchester conurbation and contains around 106,500 dwellings, of which approximately 75,000 (70%) are within the private sector.
