description
Support to people at home provides short-term reablement and rehabilitation support and in some instances longer term support. The integrated reablement services of Northumberland County Counil and NHS provide only short-term support at home and rehabilitation in the community. This procurement process seeks to commission a framework of Providers across the County, broken down into ten distinct geographical areas, to provide a Home Care service. For the purpose of this contract, Home Care is defined as help and support with the personal tasks which are essential to keep an individual safe and well at home. Northumberland County Council are hosting an Information Event at 2pm on the 22nd October 2014, at County Hall, Morpeth. This will include an opportunity to seek further information about the contract and also the procurement process.
