Diabetic Eye Screening Programmes for Greater Manchester - Market Engagement Event and Request for Information

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) working for and on behalf NHS England, Lancashire and Greater Manchester wish to issue a Request for Information document and hold market engagement and potential bidder networking event on Monday 25th April 2016. This event is for potential providers of Diabetic Eye Screening in Greater Manchester.

Request for Information Documents:

Organisations are requested to complete the Request for Information response document and submit by 12 noon on the 7th April 2016. Feedback from the RFI will be used to inform the market engagement event.

Market Engagement Event:

Date: Monday 25th April 2016

Arrival and sign in will commence from 9:30 am with the event commencing at 10:00 am.

Session 1 (approximately 1 hour) will be used to:

• Provide feedback on the salient points from the recent 1:1 market engagement sessions.
• Provide feedback on the current ‘request for information’ relating to the size and footprint of programmes.
• Clarify NHS England’s commissioning intentions with regards to Greater Manchester Diabetic Eye Screening Programmes.
• Clarify timelines and next steps.
• Respond to any questions raised by delegates.

Session 2 (1-2 hours as required) will provide an opportunity for:

• Potential bidders to network with one another to discuss potential collaboration.
• Potential bidders to speak with NHS England commissioners to clarify any outstanding points.

The event will close at 13:00.
