A full range of measures will be required including but not limited to: • Volume/value • Household penetration • Frequency of purchase • Average price • Weight of purchase • Promotional detail, type of promotion volume and value of products sold on or off promotion • Capability for a full range of demographic breakdown • Data by Geographic region • Special analysis • ‘Country of Origin’ data Time Periods • A minimum of 13 four-weekly time periods per year and composites thereof • Facility for further breakdown of time periods From time to time AHDB has commissioned work to obtain views from consumers based on known retail behaviour through purchase panels rather than claimed behaviour. This work is often undertaken to understand a change in behaviour by understanding consumer mind-sets, to pin point influencing factors. AHDB wish to obtain a costing structure and outline from agencies on how they would have the ability to ask questions based on known retail behaviour. Exact requirements for 2017/18 are not know at this stage, but like the campaign evaluation elements, AHDB wish to gain an understanding of how agencies would approach this, providing examples and a costing structure in the tender document. This is not a regular occurrence for AHDB, with about 4 panels taking place over the past 3 years.
