A new scheme is required to provide human resources support for MPs' and Peers' staff. The following is a list of issues (albeit non exhaustive) to be covered by the service:
- Probation issues
- Grievance
- Discipline
- Conduct
- Performance/capability
- Absence and attendance
- Whistleblowing
- Annual leave and time off
- Redundancy
The service should provide the employee with factual guidance, support and signposting with their contractual rights and options available to them under their terms of engagement and in line with current policies etc.
